The allegation emerged during legal argument in the absence of the jury so could not be reported until the end of the trial. On Friday, Jeff was found guilty of murder while Isabella's mother, Chelsea Gleason-Mitchell, 24, was cleared. Both had denied the charge, but Gleason-Mitchell had admitted causing or allowing the death of a child. Details also emerged about Jeff's time on remand in prison.
